Honam Part Energy Company installed a 15 Amp 3-phase Active Harmonic Filter in the Bojnur Broadcasting and Television Project to improve the power quality of the electrical network. Implementation Process

Honam Part Energy’s technical team began an initial assessment of the electrical network and identified nonlinear loads. The team identified the points of common connection (PCC) for the filter installation and selected a suitable location. The experts carefully calibrated the device and integrated it into the existing UPS system. The team performed initial tests with a Fluke power quality analyzer and recorded accurate data before compensation. Honam Part Energy’s Active Harmonic Filter

Honam Part Energy has designed and manufactured the Pod Series Active Harmonic Filter using advanced technology. The company has developed this filter with a rated capacity of 15 amps and the ability to compensate for 2nd to 50th order harmonics, specifically to improve power quality in networks with nonlinear loads such as decoder hall equipment and broadcast hall encoders. The robust structure and automatic adjustment of this filter ensure stable operation and reduce the destructive effects of harmonics. Honam Part Energy also manufactures this filter with high-quality raw materials and international standards such as IEC 61000-3-2, which ensure its durability in harsh conditions.

Analysis of Results

Installing Honam Part Energy’s Active Harmonic Filter significantly improves power quality. This filter reduces THDI from high values ​​(up to 78.5%) to very low values ​​(up to 1.1-2.0%) and THDU from initial values ​​(up to 90.6%) to acceptable values ​​(up to 0.5-3.3%). This reduction is compatible with IEEE 519-1992 standard (maximum 5% for THD) and optimizes equipment performance.
